A nationwide, student-led effort to restore native forest on campus land and build a climate-resilient future — using regeneration rather than only plantation, and measurement rather than only celebration.
The SMANR method

Student-Managed Assisted Natural Regeneration. Clear the invasive, protect what the land is already trying to grow, add water and habitat — then let the forest do most of the work. It is faster, cheaper and far more durable than planting alone.

Map the land: existing trees, soil, water flow, invasives and the native seedlings already coming up under them.
